Poor Clare Nuns
Christ the King Monastery
Hi, everyone.
Just dropped by to say
FIGHT THE LIES!!!
As I mentioned earlier, Computer Nun had been seeking answers from those people that anyone would expect would be helpful. Just not the case. So here we have a pretty old lady, over eighty, still in remarkably good shape, a Catholic Poor Clare nun with fifty or so years in the life, and where is she now, and why? And why have they strung her along these past years without the courtesy of an explanation?
She is currently living off the generoscity and love of friends, but why aren't the Poor Clares involved in providing for her? Oh ya, I forgot. They did offer her a place to stay, a pre-approved state-run facility, where They could still be in control of her life, where They would pay the bills, maybe give her a couple bucks spending money here and there. But her whole reason for leaving, to be free of the stress provided by guess who... ya, the 'one in charge', would be forever over her in that carefully controlled environment. This solves nothing, wouldn't you say?
Dear Reader, here's a thought. Their argument seems to be centered around their belief that a Poor Clare's life Must be lived within the confines of a cloistered Monastery, although these sisters don't do cloister themselves. So what's that mean? Are they saying that that's the only place God tunes in to listen to prayers? Why can't Computer Nun pray just as well in a tent somewhere?
Compnun journey 8
Hi, everyone.
I'm Computer Nun, and wherever I go, I will always pray for you, always love you, always forgive whatever you have done.
God Bless you all!
Why can't this different way of loving God be accepted in the same spirit as when the Federation works so hard to get around Cor Orans to benefit our 'one in charge'? Why won't they help Computer Nun? Is it Personal?
