This is life in the new house. We had separate bedrooms for each of us, plus a lovely kitchen, dining area, a living room plus more. We had our Computer Guy, who had been working for us for nearly thirty years, move all our equipment to the new place and set up the main workplace in a corner of the living room. From about October '22 till end of January '23, our computer guy worked with our Computer Nun to bring our operations up to speed. Then two terrible things happened. Our Computer Guy was let go, and our 'one in charge' came down with Covid! Of course, the worst part was that our Computer Nun, the one with cancer, had a very damaged immune system, so she called her oncologist about the Covid, and was told to leave the place immediately, and go get tested, and do not return until further notice.

Fortunately, Computer Nun was negative Covid, but still needed a place to stay until the coast at home was clear. She contacted a good lady friend who immediately offered her a place to stay, for as long as needed, but still only temporarily. Computer Nun moved in that afternoon, with only the clothes on her back. This was a very harrowing experience for her, especially since Sister Vee had recently died from Covid.

The next several weeks were eventful. Computer Nun was given the ok to return to 457 for short times, but only if masked and gloved as if her life depended on it, which it did.

She and the Computer Guy finished up some pending work the 'one in charge' couldn't do by herself, then got permission to remove some clothing and personal articles, plus all of her pc equipment, so she could continue helping with the computer work from a remote office.
