But first, she must coalesce her self image so she is outwardly strong enough to withstand her detractors and easily intimidate them. She does this by talking dirt about each of her flock to the others, generating distrust and loathing between them. Then she puts a fine edge on her ability to stifle anyone who would dare question her, easily shutting down any dissenting ideas with the cruelest barrage of words, usually right in front of everybody.

So exactly how might this 'one in charge' see herself? First off, she would always be the injured party. Boo hoo for me! Also, she would feel that no one was able to do anything around there but herself, so sharing the workload is out of the question. And if the job is too much for one person, why not ask for help? Possibly to ensure the job never gets done, and she'd always have someone to blame her failures on: THEM. They never help her. And possibly that's another tactic... create the problem then boo hoo she has no one to help her fix it. Always creating situations that in her mind, make her look like the victim. To maintain her self image, it's Never Her fault, even though it always leads to disaster.

And you can't believe, Dear Reader, how she talks behind everyone's back to outsiders, blasting her community for their lack of support, or ability to 'do anything', no help at all for her, she's all alone against the slings and arrows, boo hoo! Lots of sympathy generated, sympathy she would use to combat any dissention carried beyond her walls.

What things might contribute to the downfall of an organization? Here's one thing...
The 'one in charge'. If she has qualities, she becomes a Leader, and Leads her community out of the darkness and into the light. She leads by Example, Ya? Have you heard any such examples yet? And what if she hasn't such leadership qualities? Then she rules like a tyrant. She stifles any dissention with attacks on the person, making them feel embarassed, ashamed for having spoken up. She refuses to consider any idea not her own, and bulls her way through any projects with no thought if it's the right thing to do, or if this is the correct way to do it.
